The church of Saint-Pierre d'Ascq is one of the oldest buildings in the city. Its particular architecture testifies to several eras: the end of the 15th century for the choir and the transept, the 16th for the central part of the nave and the 19th for the bell tower part built in brick.
The building was remodeled by Hellenic architect Albert Rouzé in the 1930s and has an art deco style with its Bonzel briquettes. Major restoration work on the facades, frames and roofs was undertaken by the city between 2016 and 2018.
