Ab 1842 können Reisende mit dem Zug in Tourcoing anhalten. Ein 1846 erbauter Bahnhof wurde angesichts des industriellen Wachstums schnell unzureichend. Ein neuer Bahnhof, der von dem Architekten Sidney Dunnett erbaut wurde und 1906 eingeweiht wurde, hat seinen Kronleuchter im Jahr 2022 gefunden. Das laufende Sanierungsprojekt zielt auf die Schaffung eines multimodalen Ballungszentrums ab. • Ausstellung des Modellbaus des Bahnhofs Tourcoing per Bahn 59, Samstag und Sonntag von 10 bis 18 Uhr • Kommentierte Besichtigung, Sonntag um 15 Uhr - Dauer 1h Place Semard, Tourcoing

THE STATION OF TOURCOING From 1842, train passengers can stop at Tourcoing. A railway station built in 1846 quickly became inadequate in the face of industrial growth. A new station built by architect Sidney Dunnett, inaugurated in 1906, has just regained its lustre in 2022. Dal 1842, i viaggiatori in treno possono fermarsi a Tourcoing. Una stazione costruita nel 1846 divenne presto insufficiente di fronte alla crescita industriale. Una nuova stazione costruita dall'architetto Sidney Dunnett, inaugurata nel 1906, ha appena ritrovato il suo lampadario nel 2022. LA GARE DE TOURCOING
Dès 1842, les voyageurs en train peuvent s’arrêter à Tourcoing. Une gare bâtie en 1846 devient vite insuffisante face à la croissance industrielle. Une nouvelle gare édifiée par l’architecte Sidney Dunnett, inaugurée en 1906,
vient de retrouver son lustre en 2022. Le projet de requalification en cours vise la création d’un pôle multimodal métropolitain.

LA ESTACIÓN DE TOURCOING A partir de 1842, los viajeros en tren pueden detenerse en Tourcoing. Una estación construida en 1846 se convierte rápidamente en insuficiente frente al crecimiento industrial. Una nueva estación construida por el arquitecto Sidney Dunnett, inaugurada en 1906, acaba de recuperar su lustre en 2022.
