Further to the destruction of the original buildings(ships) in 1940, the National Factory of Tapestry of Beauvais settled down in the old(former) local slaughterhouses (dating of 1854) rehabilitated to continue to produce contemporary tapestries to enrich the collections of the National Furniture.
