A photographic exhibition of students of the Lycée Jean Rostand de Roubaix (BTS photography, UFA photography) on the Departmental Archives of the North.
What views have these future professionals of photography had on the spaces, the architecture of the building, on the missions, on the archival documents?
During the 2021/2022 school year, the Archives départementales du Nord welcomed students from the Photography professions (BTS/UFA) of the Lycée Jean Rostand in Roubaix.
Looking at the missions of an archives service, exploring a multi-faceted building, capturing a moment of work and revealing documents, this was the order that was given to the 60 reporters. Discover on the gates of the building a selection of the works of these students.

Saturday 17 September, from 2pm to 6.30pm/ Sunday 18 September from 10am to 5.30pm (exhibition visible from outside the building).

The departmental archives of the North, created in 1796, and attached to the General Council of the North in 1986, collect, keep(preserve), list(classify) and announce to the public all the archives of public agencies existing or having existed on the Northern Territory, since they are of an interest for the justification of the rights of each and as source(spring) of historic research(search). These public archives are supplemented by coming private archives to enrich bottoms.
