"From the Franche Foire to the Jet des Louches", exhibition on an emblematic Cominoise tradition!
For the second year in a row, the Comité de la Fête des louches is investing in the Maison du patrimoine to shed light on the Fête des Louches: its history, its origins....
Thanks to numerous objects of collection but also to archival documents, you will know more about the Franche Foire and historical figures throughout the ages: Saint Chrysole, John II of the Clyte and Jeanne d'Estouteville, Philippe de Commynes, Georges de Hallewyn, Augier de Bousbecque, Jean Despautère, Charles Degroux...
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the exhibition is open from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September.
On Sunday 18 September, the opening, organized at 3pm, is open to all.
Please note: the exhibition is presented from 17 September to 21 October and from 25 October to 7 November. The second part of the exhibition will be devoted to the presentation of decorated ladles.
