Visitors will also be able to approach and admire the imposing altarpiece dedicated to Saint Joseph, carved in wood in 1690, a jewel of sacred art that was made possible thanks to a gift from Louis XIV. A project to restore the high altar is under way to restore its majesty.

St Martin’s Church is located in the heart of Buschwiller.
There has always been a church in the village since 1144\. The building was destroyed during the First World War. In 1933, the present church was built in a contemporary style, at a different location than the previous one.
