Through her brand Geht’s In, the costume designer and seamstress, Rita Tataï, is inspired by local heritage and revisits the codes of Alsatian costume.

A sower of ideas, she is keen to transmit her passion and know-how to young designers who are also working to build bridges between tradition and modernity.
The exhibition «Inspiration Alsace» allows to highlight these links by exhibiting the Geht’s In creations, in comparison with ancient pieces, mainly from the collections of the Museum of the Country of Hanau.
The traditional Alsatian costume is thus decomposed and is offered to us in a new angle, allowing to highlight the richness of its motifs, its fabrics and its ornaments.
