The Methodist church was born out of a religious movement in 18th-century England (J.Wesley and G.Whitefield). The name “Methodist” comes from the methodical study of the Bible by its founders. Metz Methodist Church dates back to 1910\. The current building at the corner of rue C. Abel and place P. de Vigneulles was built in 1926\. She is a member of the Union of Evangelical Methodist Churches of France, a member of the Protestant Federation of France and the National Council of Evangelical Churches of France.
