Come and discover a 19th century mansion where the composer Théodore Gouvy lived the last 30 years of his life.

It was built around 1852 by the ironmaster Alexandre Gouvy and became the favourite resort of his brother, the composer Théodore Gouvy. The Institut Théodore Gouvy has successfully restored the reputation of the long-forgotten musician by publishing and having his works performed around the world. The Villa currently houses the headquarters of the Théodore Gouvy Institute.

Villa Gouvy, house of masters(teachers) and seat(siege) of the Institute Theodore Gouvy. For more than 30 years, this association organises Music festival " (series of concerts), publish(edit) the partitions(scores) of the compositor, participate in lounges(shows), exhibitions(exposures), colloquiums or else propose pedagogic visits to make become aware in the youngest of the quality of this Lorraine artist.
