La Comète - Scène nationale

Created in 1996 and directed by composer Philippe Bachman since 2004, the Comet is one of 76 national stages in France. Each season, the Comet presents nearly 50 shows for more than 90 performances in all areas of living performance: theatre, circus, dance, music, puppets, magic, etc. They are produced by national and international companies, for all audiences, in a 480-seat concert hall.
La Comète is also an Art et essai cinema programme in a 150-seat theatre. It is also an international film festival: War on screen, which celebrates its tenth edition in 2022\. This unique festival presents a hundred screenings each year, the first week of October, with feature and short films, films in competition judged by an international professional jury, as well as a press jury, a student jury and a high school jury, retrospectives; but also meetings, master-classes, conferences, etc.
