Archaeology Alsace is a public institution which exercises since 2006 scientific, patrimonial, educational and cultural missions in Alsace: advice(council) to the planners, researches(searches) for ground and data processing, restoration(catering) and preservation of objects and vestiges, actions(shares) of promotion(valuation) and cultural mediation.
Its creation in 2006 results from a strong political will and from an unpublished partnership between the Departments of the Bas-Rhin and of the Haut-Rhin. Since 2016, Archaeology Alsace invested(surrounded) new premises(places) built on the banks of Ill, which he(it) shares with the Centre of preservation and of study of Alsace.
