Im Tal von Andecy in der Gemeinde Baye befindet sich seit dem 12. Jahrhundert eine Abtei. Die Geschichte hat ihr Werk vollbracht, aber die heutige Stätte ist immer noch dem Gebet der Kirche gewidmet.
Der Taubenschlag hat seit über einem Jahrhundert kein Dach mehr. Mit der Stiftung für das Kulturerbe unter Beteiligung der Mission Bern wird derzeit über eine Restaurierung nachgedacht.
Sein Innenvolumen und die Anzahl der Boulins machen es zu einem außergewöhnlichen Gebäude.
Die moderne bioklimatische Kapelle fügt sich harmonisch in diesen historischen Raum ein. Diese Konstruktion, die den heutigen Kriterien der Energieeinsparung entspricht, ist bekannt.

The bottom of the Andecy valley in the town of Baye has been home to an abbey since the 12th century. History has done its work, but the present site is still dedicated to the prayer of the church.
The dovecote hasn’t had a roof for over a century. A restoration is under consideration with the Heritage Foundation with the participation of the Bern Mission.
Its interior volume and the number of boulins make it an exceptional building.

La colombaia non ha più il suo tetto da più di un secolo. Un restauro è in corso di riflessione con la Fondazione del Patrimonio con la partecipazione della Missione Berna.
