Visit of a museum retracing the history of the school in the Val d'Argent from the 16th to the 20th century
Located on the first floor of the Echery elementary school, the school museum traces the history of the school in the Val d'Argent in two old classrooms. The first room offers an exhibition of documents, school books, student notebooks and photographs, which reflect the history of primary education in Alsace, oscillating between the French and German school system.
When you cross the threshold of the second room, you now enter the classroom as it was set up in the 1930s. During the visit, the guide will explain the course of a day of class lived by the students of the Interwar period, and will introduce you to the school materials used at the time.
At your request, he will introduce you to writing with the Sergeant-Major pen.
