"To place the man in the painting(paint) rather than in front of her", asserted(affirmed) Van Doesburg. It is in this spirit progressive, advocating a total art in the service(department) of life and of its embellishment that Theo Van Doesburg, grunts Jean Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp realise in 1928 the decorations(sets) of the complex of leisures of the Bus shelter. Initially provided with 4 levels, the building(ship) sees the entirety of the first floor restored and listed(classified) in conformance with(for) Historic monuments today. By taking the stairs in the geometric pattern, you will penetrate at the heart of roaring twenties, discover the Movies-dance hall, and its élémentariste decoration(set), the Home(Foyer)-Bar which allowed to take a glass(have a drink) following projection, and impressive Room of parties(holidays) which declines strict one orthogonal composition. The history(story) of the Bus shelter, of its origin at the end of the XVIIIth century, until in the unveiling of the complex of leisures in 1928, is evoked in several points there.
