Die Naturhistorische Gesellschaft der Ardennen bewahrt 5 bemerkenswerte alte Herbarien, von denen eines 240 Bände hat.
Einige wertvolle Bretter werden im Service Patrimoine ausgestellt. Arnaud Bizot, Vizepräsident der SHNA (Société d'Histoire Naturelle des Ardennes), wird uns die Herbarien Callay, Janet, Cardot, Mailfait und Bourguignon vorstellen.
Diese Sammlungen, die für die Typisierung und die botanischen Studien unentbehrlich sind, haben eine reiche Geschichte: Diese Botaniker waren auch Forscher und für einen von ihnen sogar ein renommierter Psychologe, dessen Arbeiten Freud inspirierten. Präsentation im Lesesaal Patrimoine um 11 und 15 Uhr.

The Natural History Society of the Ardennes has 5 remarkable ancient herbaria, one of which has 240 volumes.
A few precious plates will be exhibited at the Heritage Department and, Arnaud Bizot, Vice-President of the SHNA (Société d'Histoire Naturelle des Ardennes), will introduce us to the herbaria Callay, Janet, Cardot, Mailfait and Bourguignon.
These collections, indispensable for typification and botanical studies, have a rich history: these botanists were also explorers and even, for one of them, a renowned psychologist, whose work inspired Freud. Presentation at the Heritage Reading Room at 11am and 3pm.

La Società di Storia Naturale delle Ardenne conserva 5 pregevoli erbari antichi, di cui uno con 240 volumi.
Alcune preziose tavole saranno esposte al servizio Patrimoine e, Arnaud Bizot, vicepresidente della SHNA (Società di Storia Naturale delle Ardenne), ci presenterà gli erbari Callay, Janet, Cardot, Mailfait e Bourguignon.
Queste collezioni, materiali indispensabili alla tipificazione e agli studi botanici, hanno una ricca storia: questi botanici erano anche esploratori e, per uno di loro, un rinomato psicologo, i cui lavori ispirarono Freud. Presentazione alla sala di lettura Heritage alle 11:00 e alle 15:00.

Quelques précieuses planches seront exposées au service Patrimoine et, Arnaud Bizot, vice-président de la SHNA (Société d'Histoire Naturelle des Ardennes), nous présentera les herbiers Callay, Janet, Cardot, Mailfait et Bourguignon.
Ces collections, matériel indispensable à la typification et aux études botaniques, ont une riche histoire : ces botanistes étaient également des explorateurs et même, pour l’un d’entre eux, un psychologue renommé, dont les travaux inspirèrent Freud.

Algunas preciosas tablas serán expuestas en el servicio Patrimonio y, Arnaud Bizot, vicepresidente de la SHNA (Sociedad de Historia Natural de las Ardenas), nos presentará los herbarios Callay, Janet, Cardot, Mailfait y Bourguignon.
