The Town hall, construction of which goes back up(raises) in 1370, is listed(classified) in conformance with(for) historic monuments since July 3rd, 1900\. Since almost 650 years, the building is devoted to the administration of the city(estate). The stone of foundation, engraved by vintage wine(year) 1370, is always visible in the room of holy Boss, at the ground floor. It is only in 1848 when the Town hall will take its current external turn, under the direction of the architect Antoine Ringeisen: the Northeast facade of the building(ship) dated of 1523 and the balcony of 1604 will then be kept(preserved).
