Enjoy a playful presentation about the construction of the church and the constructive principles, in medieval costume, accompanied by musical moments on the organ.

The visit allows to discover the history of the town and the church in the Middle Ages and early Renaissance. Beyond the history of the site, the animation allows to understand the construction of a church at that time, the architectural techniques and the tools used. The speaker, Romain Lunardi, will be accompanied to the organ by Dominique Bréda.

The church of Saint-Georges is located near the High Castle, surrounded by the cemetery and preceded by a terrace. It used to be in the centre of the old village. It was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War in the 17th century.
Of the medieval church, there remains only a Romanesque tower of the twelfth century which assured the old entrance.
It underwent extensions until the end of the sixteenth century. Inside, one can see a liter funerary in the apse and on the sides, at the arms of Haraucourt. There are also 16th-century funerary slabs set against the wall. It has a 19th-century Verschneider organ.
Saint-Georges Church has been listed as a historical monument since 1990.
