Rich and proud of its history(story) enlivened for the XIIIth century s., the restored fortress also possesses an identity of the XXIth century s. An audacious(adventurous) architectural bet mixed(involved) the sandstone, the wood, the copper to adapt it with its new tourist and cultural functions(offices). These contemporary additions stay reversible to allow in the future generations to find the site in its previous(former) state. It is from now on an inescapable(major) place of historic discovery, of exhibition(exposure), of meeting, of artistic experimentation and of show. Thanks to this dynamics, he(it) became heritage interpretation centre, supported by the Departmental Council(Advise) of the Bas-Rhin.
