Explanatory panels reflect on the historical and architectural evolution of this place. The old mansion is ostensibly steeped in history. Nothing is more moving today than to rediscover the past of buildings that have been able to reinvent themselves over time.
Published by the Service Animation du patrimoine as part of the Ville d'art et d'histoire label, this new Focus brochure focuses on the history and architecture of the four municipal museums. Former abbey, episcopal palace, apothecary, 16th century residence… Trojan museums have all had a previous life… before becoming the setting for remarkable collections. Chronology, construction secrets, architectural details… Discover these sixteen richly illustrated pages.
This brochure is distributed free of charge in municipal museums, at the Jacques-Chirac media library or at the Animation du patrimoine service by prior appointment. It is also available for download at www.vpah-troyes.fr
