Enjoy a multi-artist and multi-cultural concert: come and sing platt, Alsatian, English, and many others!

For the first time, the Théâtre de la Choucrouterie is taking part in the Heritage Days. A place of local life with a national influence, the Chouc recalls, in its participation, its attachment to its traditions and values. The occasion also to remember that Alsace is rich in its diversity through a celebration in music.
Come listen to a dozen artists and a dozen languages, in a concert evening which only the Chouc' to the secret!

The Théâtre de la Choucrouterie wanted to be a laboratory and a nursery. “If we don’t plant our own salads, we’ll have to import them” remains the motto of its director Roger Siffer. Springboards in «katapults», creations of burlesque characters in historical portraits, traditions in research theatres, satirical cabarets in musical dramatizations, folklores in contemporary dialectal writings, in all languages spoken here, The Sauerkraut artists explored and began to build everything that was possible and even more.
Historically, a real sauerkraut factory occupied this place with its courtyard before being transformed into a cabaret.
With its 2 small concert halls (71 and 98 seats), the Chouc' as people who love it call it, however, attracts more than 10,000 spectators per year. And this with an average of more than 300 performances per year.
