La Villa - Musée et sites archéologiques de l'Alsace Bossue
5 Rue de l'église, 67430 Dehlingen

  • Grand Est
Inaugurated on 20 September 2014, La Villa, an interpretation centre for the archaeological heritage of the Bas-Rhin, offers an opportunity to discover the history of a gallo-Roman North-East of Gaul and follow the work of archaeologists to understand the updating and restitution of the past. The reception and exhibition spaces, as well as the scenographic spaces, have taken place in the heart of the town of Dehlingen in a building that makes dialogue a home of the seventeenth century and a contemporary extension in pisé, technique millenary of construction in earth.
Around the center, four thematic paths allow to reach the archaeological site of the villa of Gurtelbach (and its gallo-roman garden realized by the archaeologists of the Archaeological Research Society of Alsace Bossue)
