Anhand von Beispielen aus den Sammlungen der Langusten zeigt die Ausstellung der Öffentlichkeit den materiellen Aspekt eines nachhaltigen Erbes.
Die Worte fliegen weg, die Schriften bleiben, heißt es: Die Unterstützung des Geschriebenen muss jedoch dauerhaft sein und den Test der Zeit bestehen!
Alte Waren, die aus verschiedenen Materialien (Papier, Pergament, Leder, Holz, Leim, Metall, Stoff) bestehen, können im Laufe der Zeit verschiedenen Schäden ausgesetzt werden: Risse, Schimmel, Verbrennungen, Verfärbungen, Stürze...
Wie kann man angesichts dieser Gefahren dieses geschriebene Erbe pflegen und bewahren, um es besser an zukünftige Generationen weiterzugeben?

Based on examples from the language collections, the exhibition aims to show the public the material aspect of a heritage by sustainable vocation.
The words fly away, the writings remain, it is said. Still, the support of the written word must be perennial and pass the test of time!
The old works, composed of different materials (paper, parchment, leather, wood, glue, metal, fabric) are likely to undergo various degradation over time: tears, molds, burns, discolorations, falls...
In the face of these dangers, how can we maintain and preserve this written heritage in order to better transmit it to future generations?

Partendo da esempi tratti dalle collezioni langroises, l'esposizione si propone di mostrare al pubblico l'aspetto materiale di un patrimonio per vocazione sostenibile.
Le parole volano via, gli scritti rimangono, si dice. Occorre ancora che il supporto dello scritto sia perenne e superi la prova del tempo!
I lavori antichi, composti di diversi materiali (carta, pergamena, cuoio, legno, colla, metallo, tessuto) sono suscettibili di subire nel corso del tempo varie degradazioni: strappi, muffe, ustioni, scolorimenti, cadute...
Come, di fronte a questi pericoli, mantenere e conservare questo patrimonio scritto per meglio trasmetterlo alle generazioni future?

À partir d’exemples issus des collections langroises, l’exposition s’attache à montrer au public l’aspect matériel d’un patrimoine par vocation durable.
Les paroles s’envolent, les écrits demeurent, dit-on.
Encore faut-il que le support de l’écrit soit pérenne et passe l’épreuve du temps !
Les ouvrages anciens, composés de différents matériaux (papier, parchemin, cuir, bois, colle, métal, tissu) sont susceptibles de subir au fil du temps diverses dégradations : déchirures, moisissures, brûlures, décolorations, chutes...
Comment, face à ces périls, entretenir et conserver ce patrimoine écrit pour mieux le transmettre aux générations futures ?

A partir de ejemplos procedentes de las colecciones langroises, la exposición se dedica a mostrar al público el aspecto material de un patrimonio por vocación sostenible.
Las palabras vuelan, los escritos permanecen. ¡Es necesario que el soporte de la escritura sea perenne y pase la prueba del tiempo!
Las obras antiguas, compuestas de diferentes materiales (papel, pergamino, cuero, madera, pegamento, metal, tela) pueden sufrir a lo largo del tiempo diversas degradaciones: desgarros, mohos, quemaduras, decoloraciones, caídas...
¿Cómo, ante estos peligros, mantener y conservar este patrimonio escrito para transmitirlo mejor a las generaciones futuras?
