The place(square) Saint-Peter is located in the district of High city of Bar-le-Duc, labelled «safeguarded sector» since 1975 for its urban complex Renaissance. It is dominated by the church Saint-Peter, of style Flamboyant Gothic, which receives(welcomes) two of the works of the sculptor Ligier Richier:« the Ordeal(Calvary)», representing the Christ and both scoundrels, and " the Chilling ", representing the skeleton emaciated by René de Chalon.
