La Maison de Quartier is a nearby facility open to all in the White House area.
This garden city, designed by architect Edmond Herbé, was built in 1922 at the request of the Office Public d'Habitation in Bon Marché.
It includes 324 Basco-Landes style houses with vegetable gardens, and public facilities: school, post office, railway station…
The Maison de Quartier offers many socio-cultural activities and conducts concerted animation projects for the inhabitants of the territory.
Since its creation, it has a cinema, L'Atalante, recently restored. It also has a shared garden, place of exchange and conviviality.
