Église Notre-Dame
Le Bourg, 28340 Les Ressuintes
- Eure-et-Loir
- Centre-Val de Loire
When one goes around the church, one discovers a small door including many ex-voto as in the chapel Saint-Pierre de Réveillon. The magnificent buttresses on both sides of the walls attest that the church was modified many times. Indeed the most imposing buttresses (15th century), for some, are located on much older flat buttresses (12th, 13th century). Inside the church, one discovers an interesting funerary slab dedicated to Lady Charlotte Blanchouyn wife of the lord of the Hamel (lord of the Ressuintes). You can also discover a beautiful confessional of baroque style and some traces of wall paintings.
