In 1759, Charles François Leblanc de Marnaval acquires the lands of Hovels. He(It) makes build the castle. The current house calls back(reminds) particularly the Small Trianon of Versailles. Italian-style construction, the castle of Hovels illustrates with elegance arts of the XVIIIth century. Its current character is due to the work of embellishment realised mainly by Henry Viguier, resident Director-General of the General store(Mess) of the Town hall and his wife who(which) acquired it in 1917\. In 1967, Henry Viguier will leave it in the centre of the national monuments. The attraction of the castle domiciles(resides) in its aspect "lived «. All year round, bouquets consisted with the flowers of the garden vase welcome the visitors. It is not possible to leave Hovels without walking in his(her,its) 80 hectare, standing park of exceptional trees in diverse and extremely rare gasolines(essences) (tulip trees, red oaks of America, they liquidambars). The castle of Hovels is open to visit by the Centre of the national monuments.
