On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the museum invites you to go on stage and discover the backstage of its venue.
In small groups, you will discover the stage space, the boxes, as well as the technical equipment used during the shows (including the different types of projectors). You will also learn more about the uses and customs of the theatre world (vocabulary, superstitions...).

Unique(Only) in Europe, the Museum of Fairground Theatre proposes a walk across the four centuries of history(story) of travelling theatre, on the steps of Molière, of the commedia dell'arte and of removable theatres which livened up(led) in the past the French campaigns(countrysides). In a magical place presenting decorations(sets) of stage(scene), period costumes and accessories, the travelling actors enter last time on stage to make you discover the big(great) adventure of fairground theatre... That show begins!
