Parish church completely rebuilt in the 15th century (only the north bell tower is anterior). Saint-Étienne is a vast church-hall with a single nave, of refined architecture, on the tribune, the organ Ducroquet (1852) is classified as historical monuments. The stained glass windows of the Lobin workshop in Tours were installed in 1860 in the choir, and tell the story of Saint Stephen. On the sides of the choir, other later stained-glass windows tell episodes of the history of the Chinonais: to the south, death of Saint Martin at Candes, miracle of Saint Mexme; to the north, meeting of Saint Radegonde and the hermit Jean de Chinon, Joan of Arc recognizing Charles VII. This stained glass window dated 1881 is the first dedicated to Joan of Arc installed in a church.
