Hôtel de Chouys

The Hotel de Chouys was built from 1665 to 1672 for Canon Charles de Chouys.Three main houses surround a central courtyard, extended by two pavilions on the street. The intendants of the province of Berry, including Dey de Séraucourt, stayed there at the end of the 17th century. The hotel has housed the current archdiocese since 1937.
