The priory of Drevant was established by the Abbey of the Moutier d'Ahun in the Creuse (then under the tutelage of the Abbey of Uzerche in Corrèze) on a land estate given in 1055 by the Lords of Saint-Amand; these 2 abbeys, at different times, accepted the Clunisian reform. The priory of Drevant played an economic role linked to viticulture, favorable on the slopes of Cher. Privatized in 1791 following sale as a national property, listed as a historical monument in 1926, privately owned. In 2015, it celebrates 960 years of the deed of donation and joins the European Federation of Clunisian Sites and places Drevant on the great European Clunisian route. Its remarkable facade, witness to the Romanesque art in Berry, is characterized by 3 arcatures and a row of 8 modillons, it is visible from the road.
