L'Anglin d'hier et d'aujourd'hui à Bélâbre: fates bound
As part of the 2022 Heritage Days, the Association Pour le Patrimoine du Pays de Bélâbre and SMABCAC have teamed up to offer you an open-air conference entitled “L'Anglin d'hier et d'aujourd'hui à Bélâbre: destins liés”.
Throughout this presentation, visitors will travel through the past of Belibre from the time when Anglin was an integral part of the local economic fabric, and Belibre today where Anglin reveals itself in other aspects. Thanks to the intervention of our two speakers, you will discover how life around this exceptional waterway has evolved to become today a wealth of heritage and a common good to preserve

Ghislaine Nadaud is the president of the Association Pour le Patrimoine du Pays de Bélâbre (APPB), This association, created in 2015, regularly organizes conferences and visits on the heritage of the communes of Bélâbre and the Val d'Anglin. Ghislaine Nadaud will evoke the life of the inhabitants of the territory around Anglin during the past centuries.
Guillaume Boireault is a river technician at the Syndicat Mixte d'Aménagement de la Brenne, de la Creuse, de l'Anglin et de la Claise (SMABCAC) which is the territorial authority in charge of the management of water and aquatic environments on about a third of the department of Indre. Referent on the Anglin basin, Guillaume Boireault will present the current management of Anglin and future projects in the municipality of Bélâbre.
