Archaeology at the Rohan Castle
From 2016 to 2018, in parallel with the reconstruction work of the southern curtain of the Rohan castle collapsed in 2014, archaeologists invested the castle of Pontivy.
After the fieldwork, which has made it possible to uncover a variety of quality furniture (or even undeclared!), specialized studies and the synthesis of data have greatly occupied the researchers.

During this conference, Karine Vincent, medievalist archaeologist at the SDAM (Department of Archaeology of Morbihan) responsible for the operation, and some specialists who have worked on the study of the castle will present you the results of this work rich of information for the castle of Pontivy but also for the Breton archaeological research.
