The works of Erik Nussbicker experience our gaze on death, the limits of our fleshly envelope, our place in nature. At once a visual artist, performer and scenographer, sometimes he invents and plays original musical instruments, notably fashioned with the help of animal bones or insect exoskeletons, sometimes he fashions works that make sacred bronze resound, that rustle with flies, or receive the colored vibrations of lightwaves.
