"Diversion of public water", a murder party throughout the aqueduct of Carhaix-Vorgium
Vorgium invites you to participate in a free, itinerant game-inquiry in the form of a "murder party": "Diversion of public streams".
The plot: the precious drinking water of the aqueduct of the ancient city of Vorgium, destined to supply the fountains and baths of the capital of Osismes, was diverted and looted. For the investigation, you will have to listen to the testimonies of the protagonists of the case... The culprit will certainly betray himself!
To solve this imbrogilo, you will be equipped with a survey booklet provided at the reception of the interpretation center and your smartphone. Scanning QR codes scattered throughout the tour route of the Carhaix aqueduct will allow you to view the testimonies.
Starting point of this investigation: a Roman-era jug discovered during a excavation in 1976 in the Persian quarter in Carhaix, exposed in Vorgium. Lying intact at the bottom of a pipe, it was probably used to draw water from the aqueduct.
Going up by car or by bike the route of the Roman aqueduct of Vorgium (20km round trip), a historical monument whose remains are today located in the towns of Carhaix and Le Moustoir, you will listen to the testimonies of the different protagonists of the history. Back at the interpretive centre, uncover the culprit and you will be rewarded!
