Contée walk, from Kerrousseau to Croizamus via Kerroch
Sunday, September 18 will take place in Quéven the 4th edition of the Heritage Day, fruit of a partnership between the municipality and 6 local associations, motivated and very involved: the historical committee, Spered Kewenn, Draughts, Musical Workshops, Kewenn Entr'actes and Scave Rando, who together concocted a narrated walk. Note: the urban sketcher Quévenois, Dominique Richard, who joins the creation of the visual of the event.
On the program: a journey of about 2.30 hours in the countryside, from Kerrouseau to Croizamus, passing by Kerroch, punctuated with comments by passionate historians who abound in details about the chronology and daily life in Quéven. They will go back in time this year! The arrival in Croizamus will indeed reveal the almost 5000 years of history of the place updated during the archaeological excavations conducted in 2010 and 2011. The Kerrousseau site, the Val Quéven golf course, the Kerroch tumulus, the Croizamus calvary and the former fertilizer plant will also be the occasion for documented stops, sometimes staged by Kewenn Entr'actes. Spered Kewenn, Courants d'airs and the Musical Workshops will accompany the walk in music, connecting different sites in a festive atmosphere.
