For the past year, Aurélie Le Maître, a visual artist, and Elen Le Maitre, a ceramicist, have been exploring the construction of the RN164’s 2X2 track installation in the Rostrenen sector. Together, they question the relationship between the road, its factory, and the landscape it crosses. By combining their disciplines, they are making use of this situation.
The proposed walk thus plunges the public into the heart of their artistic approach. Thus the two artists will guide you to the BASE, their temporary workshop located on the site.
The walk will be followed by the opening of their exhibition Aux deux bouts de la terre at the Rostrenen multimedia centre (5-7 pm).
