Centre d'interprétation - Les Enclos
53 rue du calvaire, 29400, Guimiliau
Located in the village of Guimiliau, in the heart of the Land of Landivisiau, the Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine «Les Enclos» opened its doors in 2018\.
Museum of a new kind, it is entirely dedicated to the parish enclosures. Covering 150 m² of exhibition entirely dedicated to parish enclosures, the CIAP offers to the passionate public or neophyte, local or tourist, a dive into the Breton golden age of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Immersed in a modern and aesthetic scenography, and through various playful spaces, the visitor goes back in time to (re)discover the enclosures, true jewels of architecture and history. Wooden models, facsimiles, games and scenic projections allow everyone, young and old, to better understand this unique heritage with international influence.
