House of the people de Saint Claude, inaugurated in 1910, was a centralising building(ship) of a co-operative of food(supply) Fraternal), labour (pipe and diamond cutter) labour unions(syndicates) and of groups of enjoyments(approvals) (musical circle, put together gymnastics, library(bookcase)). The building(ship) is the property of the association The fraternal today, cultural association which manages the cinema-theatre, the associative coffee(café), the workshop(studio) of printing, the service(department) of archives and of documentation.
