The remains of the collegiate church of Thil are located at the north end of the hill of Thil, belonging to the commune of Vic-sous-Thil, in the department of the Côte-d'Or. On this wooded hill, culminating at 481 m of atitude, made up of Bajocian limestones, the collegiate church dominates the valley of Serein in the west and that of Armançon in the east. The hill, from the collegiate church, offers you an exceptional panorama.

The collegiate church of the Holy Trinity of Thil is composed of a choir of the fifteenth century and a nave of the twelfth century. On the hill of Thil, the remains of a 14th century collegiate church remain. It was founded in 1341 by John II of Thil, seneschal of Burgundy and consecrated by the bishop of Burgundy. It is a 14th century building with a flat bedside, with a bell tower and a vaulted nave in a broken barrel. The defensive character of this fortified church is ensured by a shooting floor running over the entire nave and the transept, which serves on each side two arches above choir, two on the walls gables of the transept and three above the nave. The building slowly deteriorated after its sale in 1791\. Excavations and restoration work have resumed since the late 1990s. With the ancient castle nearby, the Thil hill is rich in history and remains. They are both well indicated on the Cassini map (c 1750), close to several royal roads.
