Excavations (1985-1993) of a disused parish church in 1973 uncovered dozens of sarcophagi and the foundations of a funeral church built in the 6th century, at the time of the first bishops of Mâcon. It is the only site of this period visible throughout southern Burgundy.

Excavations(Searches) (1985-1993) of a disused parish church in 1973 brought to light dozens of sarcophagi and the foundations of a funeral church built in the VIth century, at the time of the first bishops of Mâcon. It is the only site of this visible(obvious) period in all Southern Burgundy. Visit offers a journey in time(weather) thanks to the superimposing(overlappings) of visible(obvious) times(periods) in the church
