Commented visit of the Church "Our Lady of the Fields" in connection with the history of the village of Rancenay from the Middle Ages to the present day.
A slide present in the church, allows to trace the evolution of the buildings of the church, its most recent renovation (2009) and a history on the life of the village of Rancenay through the ages.
The church has been included in the additional inventory of historical monuments since 02 August 2006, and dates from before the 12th century on the oldest remains. A 14th-century mural depicting the annunciation with the Virgin Mary carrying a bible and two donors can be seen in the sacristy. The church was restored between 1834 and 1835 by the bisontin architect Alphonse Delacroix.
