30 signalling stations are distributed along the LGV Paris Lyon. They were built in 1979 for the operation of the LGV in 1981\. These stations (PRS), of "relay" technology (including Vaumort N°14), are remote controlled from PARIS, by the PAR (Switchboard and Control Station), located at the Henri LANG Centre. This technology will be replaced in November 2024 with Electronic Card Systems (SEI) stations. The visit will allow to discover from the bridge of the D20, the technological environment of a high-speed infrastructure, then to visit the station 14 of Vaumort, which, during its disconnection in 2024, will have enabled no less than 3 million high-speed trains to circulate safely.
