During the Second World War, a second church was erected on Rue de la Coupée, in order to accommodate the ever-increasing number of faithful in a growing neighbourhood. In 1944 the construction of the building began. Financed from the money of Father Antoine Ferret, the church is built on land offered by the Mommessin family, rich wine merchants. You will discover the stained glass windows executed by Bertrand father and son.

During the Second World War, a second church sets itself up street of the Gangway, to welcome believers(regular customers) always more numerous in an enlarging district. In 1944 begin then the construction of the building. Financed on the deniers of the father Antoine Ferret, the church is built on a ground offered by the family Mommessin, the rich wine merchants. Plans will be the ones of the architect Abel Pinchard. In 1949, stained-glass windows are commanded(ordered) for the north opening, to Jacques the Knight, master glazier. Drawings are signed Madam Manziat-Mauriange. Removed(Kidnapped) in 1970, it is from now on executed stained-glass windows by sirs Bertrand father and sons(threads) that occupy three faces of the church.
