Visit of the Orphans' House
Heritage and Accessibility
Founded at the end of the 17th century by Jean-Ignace Froissard de Broissia to welcome 18 orphans, this institution, which pursues its vocation of assistance, now welcomes people with mental disabilities.
Inside this classified place, the work has allowed the renovation of woodwork, French ceilings and the restoration of the chapel while combining respect for the heritage and the functionality of the spaces.
A tour guide will show the rooms of the DRC, classified as historical monument, and the chapel, renovated this year. Then meet a carpenter who has taken part in the work and is passionate about his craft, who will tell you about the renovation of the woodwork.
