Along the ridge road in the direction of Genouilly dit chemin des Moulins, north of the Croix Poulin, were built two windmills of which only the towers remain. The closest to the village, the windmill known as Billebaud Mill, named after its owner before 1910, had been in a precarious state for a long time. It was devastated by a fire in 1880 and saw its roof collapse in 1994, causing a large part of the building to fall. The Association de sauvegarde et de mise en valeur de Saint-Clément-sur-Guye then became the owner of the mill and a small area of land after having sought the opinion of the competent services of the Historical Monuments. They considered that a complete restoration should be planned because of the beauty of the site (with a remarkable view of Mont Saint-Vincent) and the scarcity of the last vestiges of windmills in Saône-et-Loire. The Heritage Foundation decided to support this restoration by launching a public subscription. A first phase of work was carried out in 2008. It was the revival of the door of the second floor (103 cm x 253 cm) with a frame in cut stone and revival of the masonry above the lintel and south side, to find a mass around the door. The work was completed just before the Heritage Days of September 20 and 21, 2008. This first phase of work, which costs €14,808.87, was financed by: - the Fondation Maxime Goury-Laffont - the public subscription of the Fondation du Patrimoine - the Fondation du Patrimoine - and the Association de sauvegarde et de mise en valeur de Saint-Clément-sur-Guye. A dry stone wall was restored in July 2017 by members of the Association.
