Related to the exhibition "Swords for the Saône?" , the Ermina association will recreate throughout the weekend a workshop of bronze craftsman as 4000 years ago by illustrating the different stages of the operating chain (construction of the fireplace, crushing and sorting of the ore, reduction, casting of objects). Archaeological experimentation seeks to reproduce the gesture of craftsmen from the remains and traces found on sites, and allows to bring valuable knowledge on these ancient technologies. Attend these bronze-casting demonstrations and exchange with archaeologists and researchers on the results of their experiments.

The Denon Museum is a museum of French municipal art inaugurated in 1866, located in Chalon-sur-Saône in Saône-et-Loire. The museum bears this name in homage to Dominique-Vivant Denon, a French cartoonist, engraver, writer, diplomat and administrator, considered a great precursor of museology, art history and Egyptology.
