Since May 2022, Inrap archaeologists have carried out an archaeological excavation in Sens prior to a social housing construction project. The results confirm those of the archaeological diagnosis and reveal the presence of a district of ancient dwellings little known and organized around an axis of complementary traffic of the Roman way. For the second time, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, INRAP is opening the doors of the excavation and inviting young and old to discover the work of archaeologists on this vast and long 8-month project.
Please note: Visits on Saturday 17 September at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm.
