Guided tour of the church of Saint-Swithun by Claire Delorme-Pégaz offered by the Société d'Art et d'Histoire d'Aix-les-Bains (SAHA). - On registration with the Tourist Office Aix-les-Bains Riviera des Alpes -
This church was built at the request of Sir Samuel Whalley. Financed by a subscription, it was inaugurated in 1870. It was intended for the British resort community in Aix-les-Bains; Queen Victoria visited it nine times during her three stays in the spa.

Church Anglicaine built by the British colony(summer camp) in Aix-les-Bains. Visited by the queen Victoria during her three visits in the city. Bought by the City of Aix-les-Bains, it is now Centre Ecumenical and cultural. The friends de l' Orgue de Sts Swithun organise reguliers concerts to listen to this beautiful instrument.
