Jean Baptiste Lully (1632-1687) did not write organ music, but his compositions were so famous that many musicians wrote transcriptions of his works during his lifetime.
Following the 2021 organ days on “Lully’s legacy”, Frédéric Deschamps, holder of the historic organ of Albi Cathedral, had the idea of an audio CD on this theme and recorded it on the organ of La Chaise-Dieu. On 17 September 2022, at 8 p.m., as part of the European Heritage Days, he will give a recital that will include the main works. He will present and sign his CD. Admission with free participation.
