- 1 - THE HISTORY OF OUR CHAPEL: Savoyard type, dating from 1595, enlarged in the middle of the 19th century with a ceiling painting of baroque style representing the Trinity. A large painting behind the altar depicts Saint Roch (painted in 1843 by Charles TARAVEL, a Mauriennais painter). We find traces of the origin on the lintel, the 2 side windows and its altar, because the stone is layered. The 19th century period is characterized by its semicircular window above the entrance door, its cornices, pilasters, 2 paintings and the presence of the vault.
- 2 - THE SCHOOL: under Napoleon I, and thanks to the donations of the family PLATTET emigrated to Paris, the children of the Combes were able to have access to the rudiments of knowledge by teaching calculus, writing and French. A photo exhibition traces the history of the school from this period until today through the laws GUIZOT, FALLOUX and Jules FERRY.
- 3 - THE SAWMILL: dating from 1810 and updated by the inhabitants of the village. Exhibition of photos of the work done and original parts found on the site.
- 4 - SKIING IN THE COMBES: the village has been the cradle of skiing in the canton of Faverges since the 1920s. Exhibition of period photos and posters on the development of skiing in the Combes, competitions and the creation of the cross-country ski foyer.
- 5 - THE ARM PUMP: display of the hand-held fire pump, dating from 1870.
